We begin the meeting with an overview of the markets and general discussion on the current trading environment, then…
We continue our collective insights to the opportunities, threats and disciplines we could be attentive to in this 2007 trading year and we look at the question
What makes a successful trader?
THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH.
How things change! Last month we had muted market euphoria and this month we see less than muted panic.
Who doubts the greed and fear drive the markets?
There has been a huge interest in fundamental market drivers with focus on the USA mortgage loan debacle and economic health sending out ripples, waves and tidal surges.
How have technical traders fared? In times of heightened volatility there can be serious testing of traders’ methodologies.
We consider this at our upcoming meeting when we look at what makes a successful trader – a condition we have hopefully achieved or aspire to.
Successful trading! I hope to see you at the meeting.
Cheers and profits
